SQL Developer – Fort Myers, FL

Mail-Meds Clinical Pharmacy is a fast-growing, Fort Myers, FL based company that provides specialty pharmacy services. We are looking for a talented and experienced SQL Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing database systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

•  Work with the leadership to analyze the needs of an organization and produce an effective database system according to their needs and specifications. This includes collecting data, analyzing the data, designing algorithms, drawing flowcharts and implementing code for the logic developed through the algorithms and flowcharts.

•  Designing and implementing database systems and applications using object-oriented programming languages

•  Develop SQL databases and write the applications that interface with them

•  Writing code that is easily maintainable, extensible, and secure

•  Design, develop, and test database solutions: run performance testing procedures to ensure the proper operations of a database and to ensure that it’s error-free. If any errors are thrown when the code runs, they need to be corrected and the code needs to be re-tested. This involves troubleshooting any potential problems, creating and submitting test reports and database improvement.

•  Developing database applications using best practices for security, data integrity, data privacy, data integrity, data privacy, data integrity, data quality, data validation, database error detection coding techniques, database error correction techniques

•  Develop database documentation. As a database is developed, the database developer must write documentation about the system and put together an operational manual. The documentation must include information regarding changes or improvements to the database as they are implemented.

•  Working with end users to support their business needs through accurate reporting of business information. Providing technical support to team

•  Working with other teams to implement solutions across multiple projects

•  Create custom reports and modify user forms to enhance organizational productivity.

Qualifications:
•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university or college with a focus on computer science or equivalent experience
•  3+ years of experience in database development using SQL language.
•  3+ years of experience in designing and developing relational databases using object-oriented programming languages.
•  3+ years of experience in designing and developing web-based applications using HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Javascript.
•  3+ years of experience in designing web applications using HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Javascript.

Responsibilities:

•  Research and establish patient eligibility coverage with insurance providers

•  Determine and process insurance rejections. Responsible for resolution of Rejections, Denials, and PA’s associated with third party insurance claims, e.g. PDPs, Medicaid, etc

•  Maintain and update patient billing and insurance information in the system

•  Submit prior authorizations and assist patient’s with financial assistance programs

•  Interact with insurance company on daily basis, i.e., overrides, rejections, and insurance updates

•  Follow up and resolved pending billing issues

•  Prepare totes for dispensing team

Requirements:

•  Applicant must be Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician

Description:

Mail-Meds Clinical Pharmacy is seeking qualified Florida Registered Pharmacy Technicians. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities. The ideal candidates will have two or more years’ experience in either Long Term Care, 340B or Retail Pharmacy.

 

Responsibilities:

• Dispensing of oral medications for the patients of the Company.

• Responsible for all dispensing functions in the Pharmacy including but not limited to accurately counting and filling oral medications by hand and through the use of automation (Script Pro and VMB robotics) ,

• Drug order check-in, stocking of medications and supplies, and ensuring stock rotation

• Demonstrate working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

• Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.

 

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Requires high school diploma or GED. Requires Valid State of Florida pharmacy technician licensure. Requires at least three (3) years of experience as a retail, long term care or specialty pharmacy technician. Has a minimum of three (3) years of experience with billing and adjudication functions in QS1 Prime Care systems. Practical pharmacy system operations experience. Strong customer service skills . Position Summary:

The Processing Supervisor is primarily responsible for the supervision of daily tasks and manage workflow of the processing team performing cycle filling processes, refill coordination, adjudication of insurance claims, billing or private pay prescriptions, co-pay assistance, collecting credit card payments, and properly processing and assembling patient records processed for the daily and cycle filling order. This position  monitors workflow, productivity, and efficiencies in order to affect desired outcomes while maintaining compliance with all Federal and State rules and regulations, as well as JTJ Medical Supply, Inc. policies and procedures. In addition, the Processing Supervisor coordinates all processing technician functions throughout the pharmacy and works collaboratively with the Dispensing Supervisor and Patient Experience Supervisor to ensure orders are complete, accurate and completed in a timely and productive manner ensuring compliance to company programs and initiatives and drives quality in respect to daily prescription claims.. This is an exempt position that reports to the Sr. Director of Operations. This position This position also supports the Department and is cross trained in various positions to manage the prescription fulfillment process from inception to delivery.
