What You’ll Do
The Senior Pharmacy Manager guides the day-to-day processing, dispensing and delivery of medications and clinical services and support to pharmacy managers at branch locations. The Senior Pharmacy Manager coordinates management of complex medication regimens for patients throughout the continuum of care. Provides pharmacy services to patients and medical practitioners. Verifies prescriptions, fills prescriptions, and dispenses medicines, counsel’s patients and medical practitioners regarding the nature and use of drugs. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment. Is responsible to ensure the JTJ Medical Supply, Inc. Fort Myers pharmacy location provides optimal and timely services, meets all legal, licensure and certification requirements and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of JTJ Medical Supply, Inc. and Board of Pharmacy for all pharmacy licenses held by JTJ Medical Supply, Inc. Provides leadership to and serves as role model for the Fort Myers pharmacy team to include supervision and over site of the Patient Management Clinical Pharmacists, staff pharmacist, Pharmacy Manager and other JTJ Medical Supply, Inc. employees. Receives clinical oversight from the Senior Director of Pharmacy Operations. This is an exempt position that reports directly to the Pharmacy Operations Officer assisting in supporting the mission, vision, and values of Mail-Meds Clinical Pharmacy. In the absence of the Pharmacy Operations Officer this position will report to the Senior Director of Operations.
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited pharmacy college recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) with a Doctoral in Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Must have a current, active, and unrestricted pharmacist license in state(s) of practice with all held licenses in good standing (as required by each States Board of Pharmacy).
• Has 3 to 5+ years of experience in pharmacy, specifically in a leadership, supervisory, or management role.
• Experience in high-volume, multi-site, or specialized pharmacy settings (e.g., long-term care, central fill, specialty pharmacy) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations. Proven leadership and staff management skills.
• Ability to travel to each of the branch pharmacy facilities as needed and when assigned.

What You’ll Do
Pharmacy Technician works directly with the pharmacists to fulfill prescription medication orders and maintain inventory control.
• Receive, review, and accurately enter new prescriptions and refill requests into the pharmacy system.
• Prepare and package medications by counting, measuring, pouring, and labeling prescription products according to provider orders.
• Print, apply, and verify prescription labels, auxiliary labels, and patient information for accuracy and completeness.
• Process third party prescriptions, including insurance claims, rejections, and prior authorization follow up under pharmacist direction.
• Maintain accurate and up to date patient profiles, including allergies, demographics, and medication histories.
• Assist patients at the counter and by phone, resolving basic questions and triaging clinical issues to the pharmacist.
• Handle point of sale transactions, including prescription pickups, return to stock per policy.
• Monitor, rotate, and restock inventory; check for and remove expired, recalled, or damaged products.
• Prepare and load medications for automated dispensing cabinets, counting machines, or other pharmacy technology.
• Follow all state and federal regulations, pharmacy policies, and safety/quality standards in daily work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces per schedule.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, and other team members to support safe and timely patient care.
