    Mail-Meds Clinical Pharmacy is seeking qualified Florida Registered Pharmacy Technicians. This is a full time position with growth opportunities. The ideal candidates will have two or more years’ experience in either Long Term Care, 340B or Retail Pharmacy.

     

    In addition to knowledge of drugs, dispensing, inventory, regulations, pharmacy law and regulation and the customary skill sets candidates will have up-to-date-working knowledge of:

     

    * Experience on  QS1 - NRx or PrimeCare preferred

    * Data Entry

    * Prior Authorization Processes

    * Insurance and 3rd party billing

     

    Requirements:

     

    •  Applicant should be Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician with at least 2 years’ experience

    •  Must be 18 years of age or older

    •  High School Diploma or equivalent

    •  Knowledge of QS1 NRx or PrimeCare required

    •  Docu-Track experience is a plus but not required

    Qualifications:

     

    Holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from accredited School of Pharmacy.   Must have a current, active and unrestricted pharmacist license in state(s) of practice with all held licenses in good standing (as required by each States Board of Pharmacy). Must have strong commitment to customer service, excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical skills.  Advanced training in disease management (e.g. autoimmune disorders, HCV, diabetes, inflammatory disorders (RA)), is preferred.     Key Responsibilities:

     

    This is a full time position based out of Fort Myers, Florida. Clinical Pharmacist is a health professional who interprets physicians’ prescriptions, contacts doctors or other prescribers and/or patients to verify prescriptions, review assessments, provide patient counselling and associated documentation and expedite processing of order. Assists with patient clinical management, fulfilment and outcomes. The Clinical Pharmacist coordinates management of complex medication regimens for patients throughout the continuum of care. This includes implementation of medication management, assessment of patient needs, development of medication care plans, and education of medication regimens.     Has a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a board-approved pharmacy technician-training program with at least 2 years of experience in a medical insurance/billing/customer service environment. Good. Holds a valid Florida Pharmacist Technician License and is in good standings with the Florida Board of Pharmacy and all other held licenses are in good standing.  Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in Excel and Access preferred and data entry.     Position Summary:

     

    Job purpose of the Health Benefits Coordinator is to receive and process new pharmacy referrals, verifying insurance coverage, facilitate prior authorization requests, coordinate delivery and serve as the first point of contact for service related inquiries and associated needs. This individual coordinates the initiation of care with patient/caregiver, referral source, and other providers of care. The Health Benefits Coordinator enters patient information into the patient record accurately and completely and maintains all patient records according to HIPAA privacy and security regulations. Receives clinical oversight and supervision from the Regional Pharmacy Manager. This is a non-exempt position that reports directly to the Customer Service Supervisor.

Oversees the day-to-day functioning of a company's computer network including organizing, installing, and supporting computer systems, networks, intranets, and other data communication systems.     Position Summary:

     

    The Pharmacy Customer Service Supervisor is a working customer service representative who is also responsible for the supervision of all Pharmacy Customer Service representatives to include patient care coordinators (HBC) in a call center environment. Trouble-shoots potential problems and resolves existing problems.  Maintains good customer/member and staff relationships by performing the following duties. Supervises and assists Pharmacy Customer Service Representatives. Coordinates employee vacations, schedules, and job responsibilities. Performs as preceptor for orientation of new personnel. Distributes changes of workloads, hours, and performs employee evaluations. Develops policies, procedures and guidelines and supervises their implementation. Serves as a coach and mentor to new and existing employees, providing constant positive and constructive feedback to enhance service and efficiency within the department. Ensures a productive office work environment.  Ensures that Pharmacy Customer Service Representatives (HBC, PA and CCC) provide friendly, customer oriented responses to all inquiries. Meets enrollment goals and access to service and service satisfaction quality metrics.  In addition, the Customer Service Supervisor coordinates all Health Benefits, Prior Authorization ad and Customer Care Coordinator technician functions throughout the pharmacy and works collaboratively with the Processing and Dispensing Supervisors to ensure orders are complete, accurate and completed in a timely and productive manner.

Oversees inventory levels to ensure that the necessary amount of medications is on hand to process prescriptions while at the same time managing the medication inventory so there is not excess inventory.  Responsible for replenishing spent inventory, arranging for the return of excess inventory or the disposal of out dated inventory while preventing shrinkage as necessary.
