    Mail-Meds Clinical Pharmacy is seeking qualified Florida Registered Pharmacy Technicians. This is a full time position with growth opportunities. The ideal candidates will have two or more years’ experience in either Long Term Care, 340B or Retail Pharmacy.

     

    In addition to knowledge of drugs, dispensing, inventory, regulations, pharmacy law and regulation and the customary skill sets candidates will have up-to-date-working knowledge of:

     

    * Experience on  QS1 - NRx or PrimeCare preferred

    * Data Entry

    * Prior Authorization Processes

    * Insurance and 3rd party billing

     

    Requirements:

     

    •  Applicant should be Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician with at least 2 years’ experience

    •  Must be 18 years of age or older

    •  High School Diploma or equivalent

    •  Knowledge of QS1 NRx or PrimeCare required

    •  Docu-Track experience is a plus but not required

    •  Nationally Certified is desired but not required

    •  Friendly customer service is a MUST

    •  Able to work well with others as a team member

     

     

  • Pharmacy Manager/Clinical Pharmacist  (Tallahassee)

    Qualifications:

     

    Graduate from an accredited pharmacy college recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) with a Doctoral in Pharmacy (PharmD). Must have a current, active and unrestricted pharmacist license in state(s) of practice with all held licenses in good standing (as required by each States Board of Pharmacy). Three (3) year of post graduate clinical experience and two (2) years supervisory and management experience in a pharmacy setting.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    This is a full time position based out of Tallahassee, Florida. The Pharmacy Manager at our Tallahassee location oversees the day to day processing, dispensing and delivery of medications. The Pharmacy Manager/Clinical Pharmacist coordinates management of complex medication regimens for patients throughout the continuum of care. This includes implementation of medication management, assessment of patient needs, development of medication care plans, and education of medication regimens. Provides drug information to the healthcare providers and patients during the course of daily responsibilities and participates in all daily clinical activities. Provides pharmacy services to patient and medical practitioners. Verifies prescriptions, fills prescriptions and dispenses medicines, counsel’s patients and medical practitioners regarding the nature and use of drugs. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.

     

    This responsibility is to ensure the Tallahassee pharmacy provides optimal service, meets all legal, license, certification and accreditation requirements and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of JTJ Medical Supply, Inc. and Board of Pharmacy for all pharmacy licenses held by JTJ Medical Supply, Inc.   Accountable for the effectiveness of the Tallahassee pharmacy clinical management services and associated patient care management program, patient outcomes through specific internal controls and associated outcomes measures that support the Company’s goals and objectives, foster a motivational culture, ensure staff competencies, maximizes customer (patient, payers and partnering organizations)  satisfaction, minimizes risk and ensures sound clinical management, purchasing and inventory management.

    Qualifications

     

    Requires high school diploma or GED. Requires at least three (3) years of experience as a retail, long term care or specialty pharmacy technician. Has a minimum of three (3) years of experience with billing and adjudication functions in QS1 Prime Care systems. Practical pharmacy system operations experience. Requires Valid State of Florida pharmacy technician licensure. Supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership and management skills are essential.  Must be self-motivated, organized and have excellent prioritization skills.  Excellent knowledge of computerized information systems and their application.

     

    Position Summary:

     

    The Processing Supervisor is primarily responsible for data entry, cycle filling processes, refill coordination, adjudication of insurance claims, billing or private pay prescriptions, collecting credit card payments, and properly processing and assembling patient records processed for the daily and cycle filling order. This position ensures compliance to company programs and initiatives and drives quality in respect to daily prescription claims. This position also supports the Customer Services Department, and is cross-trained in various positions to manage the prescription fulfillment process from inception to delivery. The Processing Supervisor directs the data entry, cycle fill and refill coordinator technicians staff to perform daily prescription claims under the direct supervision of pharmacists in such a manner as to achieve management’s goals of superior quality service. The Processing Supervisor monitors work flow, productivity, and efficiencies in order to affect desired outcomes while maintaining compliance with all Federal and State rules and regulations, as well as JTJ Medical Supply, Inc. policies and procedures. In addition, the Processing Supervisor coordinates all processing technician functions throughout the pharmacy and works collaboratively with the Dispensing Supervisor to ensure orders are complete, accurate and completed in a timely and productive manner. This is an exempt position that reports to the Production Manager.

     

     

     

     

  • Health Benefits Coordinator

    Qualifications:

     

    Has a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a board-approved pharmacy technician-training program with at least 2 years of experience in a medical insurance/billing/customer service environment. Good. Holds a valid Florida Pharmacist Technician License and is in good standings with the Florida Board of Pharmacy and all other held licenses are in good standing.  Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in Excel and Access preferred and data entry. Able to learn new software with ease. Must have strong commitment and focus to customer service, excellent verbal and written communication skills, teamwork orientation, organized and able to manage competing priorities, good judgment, resourcefulness in problem solving, and able to take and follow through with delegated tasks and accountability.

     

     Additional Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:  Telephonic Customer Service Rep, Medical or Durable Medical Equipment (DME)Biller, Experience with contacting medical insurance companies, verifying benefits/coverage and facilitating/managing the prior authorization process in a specialty or infusion pharmacy. Bilingual – Spanish and English.

     

    Position Summary:

     

    Job purpose of the Health Benefits Coordinator is to receive and process new pharmacy referrals, verifying insurance coverage, facilitate prior authorization requests, coordinate delivery and serve as the first point of contact for service related inquiries and associated needs. This individual coordinates the initiation of care with patient/caregiver, referral source, and other providers of care. The Health Benefits Coordinator enters patient information into the patient record accurately and completely and maintains all patient records according to HIPAA privacy and security regulations. Receives clinical oversight and supervision from the Regional Pharmacy Manager. This is a non-exempt position that reports directly to the Customer Service Supervisor.
