  • Pharmacy Technician  (Ft. Myers Location – M-F / 9:00am- 5:30pm)

    Mail-Meds Clinical Pharmacy is seeking qualified Florida Registered Pharmacy Technicians. This is a full time position with growth opportunities. The ideal candidates will have two or more years’ experience in either Long Term Care, 340B or Retail Pharmacy.


    In addition to knowledge of drugs, dispensing, inventory, regulations, pharmacy law and regulation and the customary skill sets candidates will have up-to-date-working knowledge of:


    * Experience on  QS1 - NRx or PrimeCare preferred

    * Data Entry

    * Prior Authorization Processes

    * Insurance and 3rd party billing




    •  Applicant should be Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician with at least 2 years’ experience

    •  Must be 18 years of age or older

    •  High School Diploma or equivalent

    •  Knowledge of QS1 NRx or PrimeCare required

    •  Docu-Track experience is a plus but not required

    •  Nationally Certified is desired but not required

    •  Friendly customer service is a MUST

    •  Able to work well with others as a team member



  • Clinical Pharmacist  (Fort Myers)


    This is a full time exempt position. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from accredited School of Pharmacy.   Must have a current, active and unrestricted pharmacist license in state(s) of practice with all held licenses in good standing (as required by each States Board of Pharmacy). Must have strong commitment to customer service, excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical skills.  Advanced training in disease management (e.g. autoimmune disorders, HCV, diabetes, inflammatory disorders (RA)), is preferred. Physician group experience is strongly recommended. Must have strong commitment to customer service, excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical skills. Has a history of conducting all transactions with customers and employees at the highest level of ethics.


    Key Responsibilities:


    This is a full time position based out of Fort Myers, Florida. Clinical Pharmacist is a health professional who interprets physicians’ prescriptions, contacts doctors or other prescribers and/or patients to verify prescriptions, review assessments, provide patient counselling and associated documentation and expedite processing of order. Assists with patient clinical management, fulfilment and outcomes. The Clinical Pharmacist coordinates management of complex medication regimens for patients throughout the continuum of care. This includes implementation of medication management, assessment of patient needs, development of medication care plans, and education of medication regimens. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.   • Health Benefits Coordinator

    Has a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a board-approved pharmacy technician-training program with at least 2 years of experience in a medical insurance/billing/customer service environment. Good. Holds a valid Florida Pharmacist Technician License and is in good standings with the Florida Board of Pharmacy and all other held licenses are in good standing.  Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in Excel and Access preferred and data entry. Able to learn new software with ease. Must have strong commitment and focus to customer service, excellent verbal and written communication skills, teamwork orientation, organized and able to manage competing priorities, good judgment, resourcefulness in problem solving, and able to take and follow through with delegated tasks and accountability.


     Additional Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:  Telephonic Customer Service Rep, Medical or Durable Medical Equipment (DME)Biller, Experience with contacting medical insurance companies, verifying benefits/coverage and facilitating/managing the prior authorization process in a specialty or infusion pharmacy. Bilingual – Spanish and English.


    Position Summary:


    Job purpose of the Health Benefits Coordinator is to receive and process new pharmacy referrals, verifying insurance coverage, facilitate prior authorization requests, coordinate delivery and serve as the first point of contact for service related inquiries and associated needs. This individual coordinates the initiation of care with patient/caregiver, referral source, and other providers of care. The Health Benefits Coordinator enters patient information into the patient record accurately and completely and maintains all patient records according to HIPAA privacy and security regulations. Receives clinical oversight and supervision from the Regional Pharmacy Manager. This is a non-exempt position that reports directly to the Customer Service Supervisor.



  • Administrative Support Services Assistant  (Ft. Myers Location – M-F / 9:00am- 5:30pm)

    Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    Previous AR/AP, customer service/patient experience

    Attention to detail and highly organized.

    Minimum of 3 years professional experience in administrative services in a healthcare environment is required

    Licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required


    Position Summary:


    Job purpose of the Administrative Support Assistant is to provide administrative and clerical support functions to pharmacy’s leadership team.  Skills/Qualifications include at minimum 1 year experience in basic bookkeeping and performing multifaceted general office support.  Good typing and computer skills, with a proficiency in office software programs. In addition, good written and verbal communication skills   along with time management and organization abilities is required. Provided clerical support in the pharmacy business administration workflow, while working with patients, pharmacy staff, and clinic staff


    Perform a variety of support and general administrative assignments in support of business administrative services, including filing, data entry, and tracking and obtain data files and or generating reports following established standards and work processes.


    Assist with invoicing, AR posting, petty cash reconciliation, delivery readiness services and electronic document management tasks well as special projects as assigned. Answering customer calls providing exceptional customer service.


  • Information Technology Specialist


    The Information Technology Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

    Holds an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, computer information systems or related field required. Industry certifications and memberships a plus. Two years of related remote and onsite desktop support experience. Desktop hardware experience to include diagnostics, installation, replacement, upgrades and maintenance. Must have strong troubleshooting and support skills Excellent IT, communication, leadership and management skills.  Ability to fill multiple roles simultaneously. Ability to work with end-users remotely and onsite to resolve reported issues. Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity and documentation. With information technology constantly changing, specialists must stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and the potential effectiveness of these advancements in their current system.


    Position Summary:


    The position of the Information Technology Specialist is to assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands. Applies technical expertise to the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems. Oversees the day-to-day functioning of a company's computer network including organizing, installing, and supporting computer systems, networks, intranets, and other data communication systems. Troubleshoot computer and information systems;  responsible for maintaining user uptime and improving computing experiences through effective problem identification and resolution. Provides exceptional customer service.  Protect customer data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means.  Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use. Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department.
